Here is a picture I took the other day of Hastings pier.
I'm tweaking a new blog theme because my last one was awful.

I've mentioned it here before, but I am extremely spotty individual. I have naturally very oily skin, so without a good morning and evening skincare routine I have gaping pores, blackheads and nasty angry red bumps all over my face, and trust me it isn't pretty! Over the last 2 years I have become completely obsessed with skincare, starting with Clearasil, Simple and poundland make-up removal wipes *shudder* I have gradually edged myself toward the team of products that currently make up my skincare routine.

I start off in the morning with my favorite Ren ClearCalm 3 Clay Cleanser (try saying that five times fast!).  Like all Ren products its lovely and mild, perfect for those of us with sensitive skin. I have been know to get this stuff in my eye and not notice until it eventually moves into my vision. I massage this into my face for 2 minuets before removing it with my Botanics Face Brush which is a great alternative to those who don't wish to fork out for (Or like me, just can't afford) a Clarisonic. I then splash my face with cool water to close my pores before spaying my face with the La Roche-Posay Serozic. This toner is somewhat of a new discovery of mine. You've got to buy it online because unfortunately nowhere stocks it in the UK, which is a total nusence because it is wonderful. The zinc calms skin and it can be used for anything from shaving rashes to nappy rashes. Next up is my is La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. I love this product. If I allow myself to run out and have to go a few days without it, it really know about it! Some people like to moisturize after using this, but for the most part I don't need to, but when I am feeling a bit dry I reach for Niva Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream which fits the bill. I then use my Burt's Bees Lip Balm before applying my make-up.
In the evening I remove my make-up with my trusty Bioderma on a couple of cotton pads before cleansing. I switch the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo out for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, which plumps up my skin and injects a bit of dewiness. My last step before bed is the Clinque All About Eyes eye cream which helps reduce puffiness and dark circles.

I have to say since using these products my skins is fantastic. I hardly ever get any spots and I look all glowy and pretty, which has made me feel so much better about the way I look. I'm even brave enough to venture out without make-up on now!

What are your must have skincare products?
I didn't get dressed today because its Sunday and the middle of the summer holidays, but if I had have got dressed this morning this is what I would have put on.

Zara trousers
Uniqlo shirt
Ebay jumper
Market bag
Primark shoes

I say 'new' I actually go this jacket for my Birthday back at the start of June, but I've been a bit too busy reblogging pictures of dogs on Tumblr to show you all.
I'm pretty sure this was the bargain of a lifetime. I posted a few months back about how much I wanted this jacket, but obviously being £295 it didn't really seem likely that I would ever be able to have one of my own. Still, I would wander in to Whistles every time I walked past one of their stores and try her on while sighing in both sadness and lust- the staff must have thought I was mental!
It was on one of these embarrassingly frequent visits that the shop assistant informed me that the jacket was the last one in stock, so it was a 3rd off, and once it clicked in my head that a 3rd off of £295 was a shit load of money, I frantically phoned my Mum to tell her I had found my Birthday present and that she needed to buy it for me right then and there or I would die. Luckily she complied and I walked out of Whistles with my dream jacket smiling giddily, and as pleased as punch.
Sadly its been a bit too hot to wear her a lot over the summer, but I think I'll get plenty of wear as we plan on spending the rest of our lives together!

Topshop Necklace
Zara Clutch
Zara Shoes
Zara Dress
Whistles Jacket

If only, eh? The Whistles jacket has been calling out to me every time I walk past her in town.

I do occasionally like to do a few DIYs in my free time, and I thought that maybe I should take the time to do blog posts about them. Who knows, maybe I'll inspire someone!

After seeing a street style picture of an over-sized leather bow, I knew that I had to have one of my own! I did a little bit of shopping about online, but I couldn't find any that were nice and in my price range, so I decided to make myself one!

I do occasionally like to do a few DIYs in my free time, and I thought that maybe I should take the time to do blog posts about them. Who...
I've been pretty busy over the last couple of months, what with moving away to uni and everything, so I thought it could be nice to do a bit of a 're-brand' on here! I think the new name is a bit more appropriate for a fashion blog, and when I have a bit of time I'm going to attempt to HTML a theme for myself- providing I can remember how from my MySpace days.
ANYWAY! this is my 'what's in my bag' post, something that every blogger in the world has probably done before me, so no points for originality.

This is just my everyday bag that I take out when I don't have classes. I bought my purse a couple of weeks ago from primark (£4, can you believe) its a nice size and I love the studded design.
My lovely glittery make up bag was a Max Factor freebee years ago, and I keep all of my basics in there, although I don't think I have ever touched up my make-up while out before (forgetful!) but as a lady, I have to carry these things. I keep a planner in my bag at all times because I'm useless at keeping dates. The one I use is a University planner, because I like people to know I'm clever enough to be at university. The iPod classic was lent to me by my sister after my nano broke, and my phone is a Blackberry 8900, if you're thinking about getting one I recommend avoiding, they keyboard is the only good thing about it. I also carry my glasses which I never, ever wear, my keys with my piggy keyring and a rosy Vaseline which is essential for every girl at this time of year!
